Day Sixty Six

Howdy

Took my children back to Wales today, after a lovely weekend together with us.  They have all been so well behaved. I am very very proud.

We went to visit Auntie Emma and Jack on the way to Wales - that was nice to catch up with them. Haven't seen them for a few months.  From there, we went to Old Skem to visit my parents grave.  Abbey and Charlotte had asked if they could go and visit, so we did.

And finally... just before our amazing curry arrived from The Balti Taste, I noticed this view at the back of our house.

Day Sixty Five

Today has been a nice day (so far - it's only 3:05). My children have played lovely-ly (?) with each other and my wife has been in a beltin mood too . All of those factors combined has resulted in me being in a good mood as well!

Photo One is of Rob, Luke, Matthew and Abbey playing Buckaroo. Despite Abigails forlorn appearance, she did actually enjoy playing. She is good at looking forlorn.

Photo two is of Luke.  He looks like he has the complete arse about something. Not sure what was up with him, but he did look cutesy sat on that chair like that.

"That is SOOOO Unfair"

And lastly for today, Robert wanted to bake some rock cakes. I told him we were all out of rocks, but not being one to be easily put off, he soldiered on using the customary ingredients. They are currently cooling in the kitchen and I look forward to sampling one soon!

Day Sixty Four

Who'd have thought I'd be sixty four. Awesome.

A late one today.  Been well busy sleeping and driving and "dad" ing today, so not had much opportunity for a photo.

Then, this evening, Luke got himself onto a chair and got all settled. It was pitch black in the living room, so I took this pic of him, all cosy under his (ever increasingly important) blanket.  I'll be honest - he looks like a bit of a biff in this photo. He isn't, though. In real life, he's relatively normal.

Day Sixty Three

So, today has been good. I have done all the ironing that we had, I had an excellent sleep and then collected Luke from his Child Minder.

I feel so proud of him today.  He's such a good little boy the way he adapts to things. Tomorrow, our house will be full of people and he'll be fine with it - more than that, he'll LOVE it.  Today, right now - it's me and him, and he's just as happy.

Day Sixty Two

I went to hospital today for a scan on my big fat belly.  It was a bit inconclusive, which is disappointing.

On the way, there was a car in front of me and at first glance, I thought it said "minge" on the back of it.  It actually said "mirage".  Gutted.

"Minge"

I had to abstain from food and drink for six hours prior to my scan.  That wasn't at all easy for me.  Even when I got to the hospital waiting room and sat down waiting to be called, it was like the devil himself was there, tempting me.

Day Sixty One

Today's photo shows Luke in his "new" pirate pyjama's. He loves being a pirate and has been running round making a noise that he thinks pirate's make. To be truthful, it sounds more like a very camp captain birds-eye, but as long as he's happy eh?

Day Sixty

Hello

Photo One for today is lovely.  We have a leaky roof so I climbed up to investigate the cause.  I was unable to ascertain the exact cause of the leak, however, I did get this ace photo.

"Up On The Roof"

After taking that, I noticed a sort of fat shadowy figure, so I got a pic of that, too.
