Day Three Hundred And Ten

Two and a half hours ago, when it was yesterday, I logged on to update this blog.  I got distracted by fannying round with twitter, and re-categorising all of the 528 people that I follow.

One photo for you this morning.  On my way to work on what is now yesterday morning, I stopped behind this car.  An Everton fan maybe?

Day Three Hundred And Nine

It's bommie night!!

I was at work today, but escaped 1/2 an hour early so I could "rush" home to Deb and Luke so we could go up to Highfield Cricket Club to see their bonfire and fireworks display.  It was excellent!!

My "rush" home was hindered by an accident causing traffic to back right up.  Grrr.

Once up there, I took loads of photo's, but my phone just isn't up to taking photo's at night, never mind photo's of fireworks!  These are my 3 favorite photo's that were taken....

A bonus video for you now - of Luke being mostly nonplussed with the firework display.

And finally - 7 years ago, I met someone who changed my life. Tonight was beautiful, standing with my excellent wife, with my son on my shoulders watching the fireworks.  Thank you, Deb.

Day Three Hundred And Seven

Good evening reader.
My blogger thingy isn't working properly tonight, so fingers crossed this will actually publish ok!
Today's photo is.. another pie. I know my blogs have been a bit pie-centric of late, but I'll try and make sure it's the last pie post for a while.

This - is rude pie. I was crap in art at school, and I've not done myself any favours here in trying to prove otherwise.

Day Three Hundred And Six

Hello reader & a special "welcome to the world" to my brand new niece, Milly!

Photo's first, then a video...

Luke being a very proud jigsaw person...

Figuring out the next one...

Today my lovely Deborah Jane made a Cock o Leekie soup, or a Leekie Cock soup - whatever your preference is.  Preferences aside - it was fan cocking tastic!!!

And finally - Luke was SO excited about the news that he has a new cousin, he recorded this message for his Aunty Clare - a sentiment echoed by us all....

Day Three Hundred And Five

Good evening, reader....

One photo for you this evening.  My wife and I created some cajun mushrooms and a lovely dip to go with them!  They were.... flippin' hot!  Must tame the spices down next time....

Day Three Hundred And Four

yello reader.

End of a night shift post for you now, for yesterday's photo's.  Both very dark and maybe I should have done a little work on them to enhance them, but - I never.

First photo is Deb and Luke at the Hallowe'en party we went to with our lovely Auntie Maureen, Us Emma and Jack.

Photo two is a gift I was bestowed by my friend at work.  Bizarre in that I'd only been discussing this particular gem of British food production that very afternoon!  All hail - the swizzle lolly....
