Day Three Hundred And Sixty Five

Wow.  This is it - the final post for this blog.

Quite a few times through the year I've cursed this blog because I felt it was getting in the way of other things.  Now I'm here, at the very last post, I think I will miss it.

I have just one photo for you today.  It is a photo of mine, Debbie's and Luke's feet.  We are wearing our new "Friday" socks.

Google tell me this blog has been viewed over 3000 times with over 4200 individual page views, which is just incredible.  If you've followed it diligently, thank you.  If this is the first time you've viewed it - thank you, too!

This is the first ever new years resolution that I have seen through to it's conclusion, and I am certain I would have packed it in around April time if it wasn't for the support of my fantastic wife.  The biggest thank you goes to you.

Day Three Hundred And Sixty Four

I can't believe it's nearly over.

Today's photo's for you.  Luke being Bob The Builder, and Bob The Builder.

Our ace neighbours came round for a drink and a sing....

It's now official. I'm a tit.

Day Three Hundred And Sixty Three

Howdy!

Went in to Wigan today to do some shopping!  It was WELL busy.

I got one of these for half price! Bargain...

The thing that annoyed me most today (and many things did annoy me) was this:-  I think the greetings cards industry is one of the biggest shams known to man.  You pay money for a card, write in it, pay money to post it - the recipient reads it and says "oh that's nice" - and then throws it away.  So - I can't be doing with cards at the best of times, but then I saw these - and was enraged...

Day Three Hundred And Sixty Two

Howdy

In work this evening.  It's the small things that make me geekily happy at this time of year.  We listen to Absolute Radio online using VLC Player.  The traffic cone on VLC had a christmas hat on!

I took a photo stood at the top of the stairs.  Not sure why. Maybe it signifies the end of a year, and looking back on it.  Or maybe it's just stairs.

Day Three Hundred And Sixty One

Well hello there.

Only one photo for you from today, and a couple from days gone by.

From today, I took a splendid photo of a Robin on the roof of my shed. How festive - how completely perfect for this time of year.  One problem....  I'm no Bill Oddie, but - that's not a robin.

And from days gone by, we have - Luke and Jacobs Christmas lunch starters.  Luke had....

... and Jacob had....

Day Three Hundred And Sixty

Happy, erm... - day after Christmas and before Boxing Day!

Boxing day HAS to be a weekday, officially, so today is just... Sunday.

I have been in work today so the lovely Deb and Luke stayed down in Bollington to do some of this!!  How lovely is my wife, by the way?!

And now the shot you've all been waiting for.  Woody with a sausage roll.

And finally for today - I think Luke likes his new talking woody toy.

Day Three Hundred And Fifty Nine

Happy Christmas!!!

We had a fairly sedate Christmas day, starting off at home, then travelling down to Bollington to visit Deb's mum and to have lunch there with my sister and brother in law and nephew.

Here are just a few photo's from Luke's Christmas morning.  Not many because of the camera battery being faulty - which, by the way - has decided to charge again now. Grrrr.

Day Three Hundred And Fifty Eight

Hellho ho ho reader

Just one photo for you today (my big camera battery is broked so I'm solely using my telephone to take photo's), so - one from today, and a bonus one from yesterday that I didn't upload...

Firstly - Luke being uber-excited about the arrival of Farmer Christmas tomorrow...

And the bonus pic is of the turkey that I cooked yesterday. It looked amazing and tasted... amazing!  Result.

I wish you and yours a very very happy Christmas.  I'm having Christmas and probably Boxing Day off, so I'll be back on the 27th sometime.

Day Three Hundred And Fifty Seven

It's Chriiiiiiiiistmaaaaaassss

Well - it is in our house.  Our first of two Christmases that we're having this year.  Joining us for Christmas One are all of my children, my sister and my nephew, too!

I apologise now for the millions of photo's.  I've condensed them down from 140!

Luke helped Phil and Natalie build this snowman. He's very pleased with it.  Except the nose is a piece of hose-pipe - he's not happy with that bit.

Matthew, Luke and Abbey delivering cards to the neighbours.

Mmmmm. Ham with cheese and onion pretzels made in to a sandwich.  Bliss.

All of my children contributed to this snowman in our garden. He was born out of the mess of a snowman I made a few days ago.  He sports a Macclesfield Town hat and a Manchester United scarf - he's called snowy.

I SO want to bounce on Natalie's trampoline!

I love living here.

My Deb, Me and our Emma.

And then Singstar began.....

Deb, Charlotte, and my nephew Jack.

My beautiful Abigail.

Funny face Charlotte!

Robert is very happy with his astronomical telescope!

Day Three Hundred And Fifty Six

Just the one photo for you today, and it's my lovely daughter, Charlotte!

Day Three Hundred And Fifty Five

Hello there festive reader...

Today - we went - to.... Drayton Manor.  Yep, I know it's minus loads of degrees and there is snow and ice all over the place but we weren't going to play on the rides.  We were taking Luke to Thomas Land.

And here are the photo's....

We went for a walk round the zoo.  Love was definitely in the air for these tortoises....

A handsome tree.
