Day Two Hundred And Seventy Three

Af'noon reader.

Got a few photo's for you today.  Firstly, it's "Loadsamoney Luke"!

Next up - I won't be seeing this for a little over two weeks!  Bye bye work.

I went to ASDA today.  I'm no Rachel Riley (although I do have bigger boobs), but I don't think this is that much of a bargain?

And lastly, I took this to play with the light - it's rubbish, but you can have it anyway...

Day Two Hundred And Seventy Two

Evening reader!

Just the one little photo for your delication this evening.  Luke (and his childminder) baked these today.  I "tested" one, and they were lovely!  Well done Luke (and Helen).

Day Two Hundred And Seventy One

We love Moon Doh.

And Luke loves singing to Dora The Explorer!

Oh - one last one from this morning...

Ouch.

Day Two Hundred And Seventy

Evening reader

A bit of advance notice that this blog will be having a week off from Monday.  We're off on our holidays and I can't wait!

Today's photo is of Luke (complete with new hair-cut, and his Grandma!)

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Nine

Evening reader

A loooong day in work, topped off with these two getting right in my way on the way home...

Apologies for the ropey-ness of the photo's.

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Eight

Today - is a sad and happy day.

Sad because we don't own our Zafira any more.

Happy because my lovely Deb did this...

and it was lovely!

This morning, I was privileged to witness this....

Enough for now....

Friday 24 September 2010

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Seven

Now then.

Two photo's for you today. Firstly, Luke's school...

Secondly - tomorrow is time to say bye bye to the "5 and 8" car.  It's been sold to a dealer (motor, not drug) in Wigan, and I hope it has a long and prosperous life.  Bye bye.

I knew posting early would be a mistake.  I just looked out the window of my kitchen and saw this.  How could I NOT include this??

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Six

Evening reader

Today's photo was captured late this evening.  It's a first!  He fell asleep in his own bed. Hurrah.

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Five

Evening reader

I used to have a Commodore 64.  I wonder who lives at number 64?

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Four

Evening reader

Today's photo is wubbish. BUT - I tried and tried and tried to make it good. I took loads of images and this is the best of the rubbish bunch.

It's the moon (on the right), and Jupiter (to the left).  I took many images with the proper camera, but this one with my telephone.

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Three

Greetings.

Today's photo is of a toilet door.  Which has braille on it - and that's fine.  My concern is for how the blind person copes once in the toilets.  There are no braille signs saying "aim here".

Day Two Hundred And Sixty Two

Hi

It was my sisters birthday yesterday so we took her and Jack out for lunch today to celebrate.  Jack and Luke got on SO well together.

Day Two Hundred And Sixty One

Today's photo is a shining example of why some people really shouldn't be allowed to drive.

There is NO excuse...

Day Two Hundred And Sixty

Today's photo's.

Shiny Zafira.

Feel free to buy it if you wish...  Ebay

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Nine

I'm late - soz.

Nevertheless - here is a photo!

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Eight

Howdy

Bit of a close one to midnight, this - as demonstrated by today's pathetic effort at a photograph.  It is a photograph, but... yeah - sorry.

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Seven

Evening reader

A tad late with this, so please accept my most sincere apologies.

You know when you try and do something to help out and be good, but then it goes wrong and ends up in a mess.  Yeah - it's rubbish when that happens.  I'm running a fantasy league in work and I gave out the wrong sort code for people to transfer payments to.  ONE digit out, but it's a valid account number on the incorrect sort code, so it's all kinds of hassle getting it sorted out.  Grrr.

On the plus side, Liz McClarnon's been back in touch, humourously calling me "uncool".  I expect it's a matter of time before she asks if she can duet with me on my (rather superb) version of Avenues And Alleyways by the timeless Tony Christie.

You'll also notice a tweet from Gemma Ray in that photo.  I'm like one of them people who's a friend to all the celebs, me.  I say, friend - I mean annoyance.

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Six

Hiiiii

We went to the dentist this morning at 08:45.  So that was a nice way to start the day!  Better still, I have to go back for a root filling.  Oh joy!

We went to buy some birthday presents for Abbey and Robert.  Luke made himself comfortable in the jewellers...

We also went to poundland (everything's a pound!).  Luke touched a shelf end, and it almost hit him on the head!  I videoed it in case I felt the need to take poundland to court and rinse them.  We (eventually) got an apology from the store manager (who had a big dollop of mascara in the corner of her eye). She offered Luke some free pick'n'mix, but he's not fussed with that, so we left.

Here's my video anyway...

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Five

Evening reader

I took our "new" car out for it's first proper run today. Rhyl and back.  It was - a joy.  Cruise control is amazing. I feel daft saying it because it's been around for ages, but I've never owned a car with it on.  Now - I'll NEVER own one without it.

Fuel economy is - considerably better....

One more photo from our evening visit to Three Sisters park area....

Love my Deb, I do.

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Four

Ay up

I'm a day late with this - sorry!

Had a lovely day at home with the children.  Luke and Matthew played Toy Story 3 on the Wii...

And then we did some baking... I did salmon en croute for my Deb.  Can you tell which one was hers?

Friday 10 September 2010

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Three

Evening reader

Had a lovely day starting with the Luke, and ending up with a full compliment of the people I love.  All my children plus my beautiful wife - perfecto!

The tickets for our forthcoming holiday arrived today, and my word I'm impressed.  We booked it through RBS Royalties Gold (as Debbie works for RBS), and they are the best flight tickets I've ever seen. It's a book.  A personalised book, with my name on it, our hotel details, resort details - everything contained inside it. It's boss!

I did a lovely thing today. Brand new quilt cover and pillow cases on the bed.  Very much looking forward to having a good lie down on them later!

Tomorrow, at 10am, we're collecting our new car.  I'm looking forward to achieving MORE than 30mpg, and also, not seeing any more fuel gauges like this....

Tonight is the final of the Ultimate Big Brother.  It's sad. I love Big Brother. I've had an on and off romance with it over the years, but I most certainly will miss it.  I suspect the format will be back in some shape or form on another channel sometime.  I hope so, anyway.

Bye bye BB.

Day Two Hundred And Fifty Two

Evening reader!

Today was THE day. Luke started (pre) school.

He was a little bit nervous about going, so he thought that Venus might like to accompany him. He checked this with Venus, and Venus agreed it was a good idea.

When I picked Luke up, his teacher told me that he'd been a super star (and he had a sticker to prove it!).  She also said that he'd had a few wobbles through the morning, but on the whole, he'd been fine.

We got home and realised that we REALLY missed mummy.  So we rushed up to Horwich to meet her!  Luke couldn't wait to eat, so got stuck in to a sausage roll in the car.

We then went into a pet shop whilst Luke upset the pets.

Just a couple more things before I sign off.  One from yesterday that I forgot to post (pardon the "couple of things" pun).

A friend at work sent me this today.  I'm famous!!

And finally - we bought this today.

T'ra!

Wednesday 8 September 2010

Day Two Hundred And Fifty One

Gooooood evening, reader!

Got a fair few photo's for you this evening.

The first one made me think of Wayne Rooney and his most recent plight.

The second show an immensely proud Luke having had a present of Venus today.

The next depicts my evening treat.  I've finished 48 hours at work in the last 4 days, so I shall treat myself to one or two of these tonight!

The next was an image I caught whilst upstairs.  The flash was so still and the reflection ace.  Wish I'd used my tripod, though.

So then I (with assistance from Luke), cut and strimmed the lawn.

My Deb got her boobs measured at M&S today.  What an amazing job the woman at M&S has.  She gets PAID to (a) look at (b) touch, and (c) generally look at - boobs.  Needless to say, she was D-lighted with the outcome!

There are more photo's, but they'll just bore you.

Thanks for looking.

Bye for now.

See you next time.

Go away.

Day Two Hundred And Fifty

Good evening reader

Today I saw the inside of my eye-lids. For ages.  When I woke, we managed to persuade Luke to model his full school uniform. This was quite an achievement.

His trousers look like they're too short.  They're not.  He insists on hiking his waist up to it's Simon Cowell-esque.
