Day One Hundred And Ninety Five

Evening reader

Mercy it's rained today!

Deb's car was in for a service so I drove it up to the Vauxhall garage in Wigan and walked the 50 minutes home. In the rain.  This afternoon, I did the same walk in reverse, again - in the rain.  This evening, it RAAAAIIIINNNEEDDD so much that the only grid at the front of our house became clogged with debris flushed down from the gutters and the outside of the house was about an inch and a half deep in water that was going nowhere fast.  All very exciting!

Today's photo's...

At the rear of Wigan Police Station is an emergency exit gate, which should be kept clear at all times.  So well done Wigan Police, for allowing someone to block it from the inside!

Poor Cheryl.  What can I say? This happened to her whilst she was hung from a bus shelter in Worsley Mesnes. Not literally.

Evidence of this evenings downpour.  The gutters gave up and the water did this.  It were proper mental so it were!
